Brotherly Love

Manny loves his brother so much. Although he can be quite devilish at times to me, I catch him being really cute to him. Examples of what I hear when I am in the bathroom or some other room.
"I love you, brother."
"Oooh, cool teeth brother! Do they still hurt you?"
Sings him songs
Tries to tickle him
Makes him laugh

And Marcel loves to watch his brother. He likes to see what he's doing all the time. He loves to follow him with his eyes and his body jumps with excitement. He's often tried to leap off my lap. And almost anything Manny does is hilarious. He'll laugh and laugh at him. (And remember Manny was the first one Marcel smiled at.) I'm sure they both can't wait until they can play more together. (I know that's when the fighting will start, but maybe it'll be more fun?)

Just wanted to remember these fun times.

Walking and Play date

We often like to go walking on the Greenway behind our apartment. It has been so beautiful outside, so we've started again.I like this picture better.

But Luis likes this one. (Don't both these smiles look fake?) I think he would be sad if I put the one he didn't like, so I'll just put both. Ha! Ha!

Can you see the teeth now?

A picture of me and Manny!

Handsome guy cruisin' with his bro

Again, with the cheese. Weirdo. But a cute weirdo.

Looks like he didn't walk much.

And Marcel had a friend over the other day. Thomas (with the amazing red hair) was born a week after Marcel (yet he was due more than a week before. She was overdue 10 or 11 days. I think I would've died).

Both smiling at their mamas, not necessarily at the cameras. Oh well.

Easter Presentation

Manny had his preschool presentation and Easter party this past week. They sang "Oh, How I Love Jesus" and "Our God is an Awesome God" Classic Southern songs. It was super funny. This is where the kids were walking in and he said loudly, "That's my mami"

"Oh, How I Love Jesus!"

More kids not really paying attention. And boy am I glad I have a boy. We only had to decorate a tie--not those fancy bonnets.

How cute are these Easter baskets made from milk jugs? He has such great teachers. And please notice the super cheesy smile. I'm thinking that's a phase, right?

Running to gather eggs. I love the little girl in the dress and boots.

"Smiling" with his Easter candy.
P.S. Notice the Batman shirt. I kept trying to get him to wear something nice for his presentation, but he would have nothing to do with it. Abuelo and Abuela bought him this shirt and this is all he ever wants to wear.

Smiley boy

And my attempt to get a group photo. Maybe next time. Maybe next time
