For Serious?

Marcel has 2 teeth. At 4 1/2 months. He kept crying and crying, and I kept saying-what is the matter with this kid? Why is he so fussy? It's too early for him to be getting teeth. Then I looked in his mouth-the redness, and I could feel his teeth trying to come in. A few days later, there was his first tooth, and the next day he had another. Crazy talk.

Great Christmas Present

I forgot to post my great Christmas present from Eric. I could never remember when I last fed my baby so I was always asking, "Anyone know what time I fed my baby last?" Eric was genius enough to come up with this. The post it says-I fed Marcel .....ago. And it's a stop watch! How clever! So then I could always know how long it had been since I fed him. I use it all the time

Lucila and her boyfriend David made the ridiculous long trip to North Carolina for Christmas! Yay!

Manny became interested in the camera and learned to take pictures (by stealing it when no one was looking).

I tried to get a good picture of my baby. He has a lot of faces (he's about 7 or 8 wks in these pictures. I kept trying to catch his great smile, but not much luck)

Catch up-Iowa Christmas!

We had a great time in Iowa, but now that I am looking at the pictures-they are pretty random and do no show half of the people there. Whoops. I'll have to be better next time. And I can always look on Facebook on Jessie's account. She took lots of good ones.

The boys and I survived the flight to Iowa and were greeted by our cousins! Liam and Logan sure love babies. and they were really good to Marcel.

Sometimes we were sad, maybe when things didn't go our way.

Eric had the great idea to make a gingerbread house. And when he does something he is for serious. He practiced in Utah before he came here, made a pattern (he even made individual shingles out of gingerbread), and everything. Then they (funny that it was only Eric, Rusty, and Bennett who actually worked on it) used their creativity to bring it to life. I love Benny's face
